Kirk Chelewski Kirk is the oldest of the three Chelewski brothers. At camp, he is called the Commander. With several nice bucks on his wall, he is one of the top bow hunters at ECM Outdoors. Kirk shoots a PSE bow with Beman arrows. He is part of the ECM Outdoor herd managment program, in which, he began in 2003 with Chris Chelewski and Dwayne Tirado. Throught the years, he has mastered the art of stand location and hunting plots. He is very knowledgeable on archery repair issues. When he gets in the stand, you better be ready to sit for a while. His rut hunting stratagies are plain and simple: sit and wait, let the deer come to you.
Kent Chelewski Kent makes our video footage come to life in the editing room. He also takes care of all our networking sites and the website. Any chance he gets to be in the woods and away from the computer, he will take it. He believes that good hunters are formed from the amount of time we spend in the woods. Experiencing a big buck under the stand or a full strut tom five yards away is what gets Kent's heart pumping. He believes that the best part about hunting that everyone needs try is getting your hunt on film to forever remember it.
Chris Chelewski (Stormy Big Time) Chris Chelewski is the youngest of the three Chelewski brothers. He shoots a PSE with Beman arrows. Chris has a go out and hunt attitude that keeps the team strong. Most of the time he is a humerous guy that will make you laugh. (As you can see in our video!) Chris has a nickname of "Stormy" and if you ever met him, you'll have to ask him how he got the name.
Dwayne Tirado Dwayne shoots a Mathews DXT that shoots 250fps and a draw weight of 62lbs. Dwayne was raised on the Hawiian Island of Hilo. He spent most of his time hunting hogs, sheep, and goats. He moved to Nebraska in 2003. If you would ask Dwayne one thing he loves to do he would respond with"bowhunting Whitetails". Since 2003, Dwaynes wall is slowly filling with antlers. Follow Dwayne through out the year as one ECM Outdoors top bow hunters.
Josh Mcdonald Josh is the brain behind all the food plots and planting. Josh is a farmer and he always says, "Farmers are for figuring stuff out and fixin stuff." Josh shoots a Fred Bear Truth shooting 310fps at 60lbs. He shoots Goldtip arrows topped with Tuff Arrow Heads. He makes for good competitor at the annual ECM Outdoors Archery shoot.
Ryan Grim (Kernal) Ryan Shoots a mathews switchback XT with a 55 lb draw Shooting Beman arrows with tuffhead broadheads. Ryan spends most of his time on the road hauling freight across the country. Ask him what's the best pay and he will always tell you, "Windshield pay." We only ask one thing of Kernal at the cabin, fill the water from the well and keep it full. You can always tell when Kernal is not there because the water is empty.
Mike Flecher Mike has been with the group since the start. Mike shoots a Fredbear Truth with Cabelas extreme stalker arrows. Mike has spent many years in pursuit of a nice whitetail buck. Mike is known at the cabin to have a curse of bad luck when hunting deer. His day will come. As you can see, his luck with turkeys is much better. He has three children and brings them out to hunt as much as he can.
Matt Gorecki Matt shoots a Fred Bear Attic and Easton Epic arrows topped with Tuffhead broadheads. Matt joined ECM Outdoors in 2008. He has the dedication and mental preparation to harvest a mature buck. Between managing their property and fishing in the summer, they definitely stay busy keeping their feeders full and cameras checked. Matt is awarded the curse of bad luck while turkey hunting and hopes to hand that award off in 2011.
Ryan Klauson (Turk) Turk has a sense of humor that keeps everyone laughing. Even though Turk is called the greenhorn, don't let him fool you. Turk was lucky enough to harvest the first turkey in 2010, making a statement to the veterans of camp. Stormy and Turk make the best treestand hanging team, because Stormy loves to climb and Turk loves to cut lanes. That's why he is called the Mule of stand hanging.
Eric Lemke Eric shot his first bow at the age of 7, and at 19 he harvested his first deer with a bow. Eric says, "I’ll never forget that day! I was with my uncle at his cabin in Harlan County, Nebraska. He sat me in a stand that he hunted on public ground for years. A few hours later, I had my first deer down. I was hooked. I was so excited, it was only a fawn, but it was my first kill." Eric has been married 6 years and has a young boy named Hunter that is 2. Hunters favorite book is about Turkey hunting, loves camo, and instead of cartoons, Eric and Hunter watch the Outdoor Channel.
